Maintenance Work at Lemoine Point Conservation Area

Published on: 2021/11/29 - in News

Lemoine Point Conservation Area trail maintenance work will be starting the week of Nov. 29, 2021, according to Cataraqui Conservation.

To ensure trails remain safe and secure for all users, sections throughout the Conservation Area will be worked on by staff to touch up areas in need of small repairs or reinforcement.

“Visitors are advised to be vigilant, as from time to time during this process large trucks will be delivering materials via the service road over a two-to-three-day period,” advises a media release.

There may be brief closures of some trail sections and appropriate signage and barricades will be placed to help guide trail users around the work site, allowing visitors to continue to enjoy the rest of the property.

Currently, minor repairs and maintenance will be performed on the south laneway with Cataraqui Conservation initiating a larger-scale capital project to revitalize the entire south laneway and parking lot in 2022.
