Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is informing motorists of lane closures on the LaSalle Causeway for repair work that will take place on the following dates and times:
- Friday, August 13, from 8pm to midnight.
- Tuesday, August 17, from 8pm to 6am.
- Wednesday, August 18, from 8pm to 6am.
- Thursday, August 19, from 8pm to 6am.
- Friday, August 20, from 8pm to 6am.
One lane will be closed during these times with one lane will remain open for alternating traffic. There will be two flag persons will be on site to direct traffic and motorists are advised they should expect short delays.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be able to use the causeway during these periods. Marine traffic will also not be affected.
UPDATE: Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) advises motorists of a full closure of the LaSalle Causeway for repair work from Saturday, August 14, at midnight to Monday, August 16, at 6am. During this period, all lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions.
The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists, and marine traffic will not be affected.
