Kingston Police Fraud Detectives Seek Impersonation Suspect

Kingston City Police are seeking a man for fraudulently depositing cheques and then withdrawing funds against another person’s account in Kingston.

The crimes took place at various Scotiabank institutions in the city on three different occasions in January 2013.

Surveillance footage is being released to the public and detectives from the Fraud Unit are asking to be contacted by anyone who may recognize the man.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or on the website at www.tipsubmit.com. Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
