Kingston Penitentiary Inmate Fears for His Life

Kingston Penitentiary
Peter Dale MacDonald, convicted of murder and charged with a second murder – as well as suspected of three other deaths – told a judge that he fears for his life behind bars.
Macdonald appeared in court on the second-degree murder charge, and reported to the court that he has been harassed in prison after a “run-in” with a female guard at the Kingston Maximum Security Penitentiary.
A prison official cited “privacy reasons” in refusing to say if Correctional Service of Canada has received the complaint from Macdonald.
Spokeswoman Holly Knowles acknowledge there are legitimate reasons for prisoners to request and be granted a transfer to other institutions – including to further education, be closer to family, or for language considerations – and confirmed fear of harm could be another valid reason.
Peter Dale MacDonald was arrested and charged by the Windsor police major crimes unit after a decade-old cold case last January, related to the murder of Michelle Charette.
Police believe MacDonald strangled Charette and left her body in an abandoned field during the summer of 2000. That was the second time Macdonald was charged with the crime, after prosecutors dropped the initial charge due to inconclusive DNA testing.
He is already serving a life sentence for strangling James Campbell in his Toronto home in April 2000, and is a suspect in the murders of three women in Toronto as well as the killing of Byron Carr of Charlottetown, P.E.I., more than two decades ago.

Julianne was loved by her family and friends. She was only 23 years old when she was murdered by this POS.
What a pathetic, coward he is. I’m sure the fear he’s experiencing is nothing compared to what his victims went through. I hope he suffers every moment of every day for the rest of his life.
