The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) has announced the finalists in this year’s Tourism Awards of Excellence and Kingston Accommodation Partners has been nominated in three categories, recognizing its contributions to the province’s tourism industry.
All three categories fall under the Tourism Marketing & Travel Media Awards of Excellence, which celebrates “the excellence and innovation of those who contribute to Ontario’s tourism industry through impactful tourism partnerships, marketing activities and media relations provincially, nationally and internationally.”
The Kingston Accommodation Partners “25 Things” campaign, promoting 25 special events during each calendar month, has been nominated for a Tourism Digital Marketing Award. The award recognizes digital marketing activities or campaigns that promote tourism in Ontario. Check out ‘25-things-to-do-in-october-2019‘.

The agency is also a finalist in the Tourism Marketing Campaign Award UNDER $50,000 category for its “Meet The Makers” campaign – highlighting people and businesses that make Kingston unique. Visit the “Meet the Makers” page at Visit Kingston.
Kingston Accommodation Partners is likewise a contender for the Tourism Marketing Campaign Award OVER $50,000 for its “Live Music” campaign, which promotes many of Kingston’s live music performances that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

Award finalists are selected by independent committees of industry representatives and chosen for their outstanding work in showcasing Ontario’s best tourism events, innovations, marketing campaigns, partnerships and more.
Award winners will be announced on October 30, 2019 at the Ontario Tourism Awards of Excellence gala evening, hosted at Blue Mountain Village Inn & Conference Centre as part of the 2019 Ontario Tourism Summit.
