The City is going to be making some upgrades at Nickel Avenue Community Park and the public is invited to make their suggestions for those upgrades. Of special note is ensuring park accessibility in accordance with Ontario Regulation 191/11 (Integrated Accessibility Standards).

Those proposed plans include upgrades to the play equipment, replacing the play surfacing, and accessible path and seating.

Nickel Avenue Park is located near the Ongwanada Resource Centre, just north of St. Lawrence College.
