Hockey fans in the Kingston region wanting to make a difference in a child’s life can now do so by supporting the Children’s Champions Campaign.

Children’s Champions partners the Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington & the Kingston Frontenacs to provide youth in the community the support they need to grow and build their self-esteem through the development of talents and skills in hobbies and sports.

It’s easy to help through pledges of $3, $5, $10 – or an amount of your choosing – for each goal the Kingston Frontenacs Hockey Team scores this season. Media, gold, silver, or bronze level sponsorship levels are also available.

Charitable tax receipts are issued for all donations.

Funds from the campaign help kids access extracurricular and sports activities that their families otherwise could not afford by paying dues, purchasing equipment and lessons, and giving kids the confidence and support they need to move forward.

The Kingston Frontenacs 2013-2014 opening game is Friday, September 20, 2013 at the K-Rock Centre.

The Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington is a not-for-profit agency aimed at protecting children from abuse and neglect. Partnered with the Ontario Children’s Aid Societies, these groups work together to keep kids safe and to assist families in building environments where children can safely grow and learn.
