Kingstonians are getting the chance to take free fitness classes next week – from Monday, September 18 to Sunday, September 24 – to find out what activities they enjoy, during Fitness Frenzy.

“Try a couple of classes!” said Lynda Breen, supervisor, recreation programs, in a city release. “If you like them consider getting a Wellness membership which offers access to both City fitness centres for a super-low monthly cost.”

An annual Wellness Pass can be purchased by adults for $34 a month and by youths for $27 a month (plus HST). The pass includes access to pools, sauna, gymnasium, cardio/weight rooms and drop-in programming (including aqua-fit) at the Artillery Park Aquatic Centre (382 Bagot Street) and the INVISTA Fitness and Wellness Centre (1350 Gardiners Road).

These two recreation centres are hosting the free Fitness Frenzy classes next week, including yoga, aquafit, Zumba, Cycle Fit and other strength training and cardio classes.

You can check out the complete schedule of Fitness Frenzy classes at CityofKingston.ca/Fitness.

Note that participants are required to sign in at the front desk 20 minutes before the class begins and spaces are limited.
