The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) is inviting the public to join them in celebrating Fall Colours Weekend.

The event takes place Thanksgiving weekend – both on Sunday, October 8 and Monday, October 9 – between 10 am and 4 pm. at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.

CRCA staff will be in attendance to suggest routes and provide maps for you to experience the breathtaking scenery with a walk or hike on the trails.

Mugs of cider and slices of pie will also be on sale to enjoy at the Outdoor Centre where you can enjoy the view from the centre’s West Hall.

In our part of Ontario there are few things as awe-inspiring as the natural splendour of fall foliage, when the leaves on many species of deciduous trees change from green to radiant reds, oranges and yellows.
