Residents of the east side of the city have the opportunity to see how the public’s feedback was used to design the 20,000 sq. ft. Kingston East Community Centre, which will be located at Highway 15 and Grenadier Drive.
The centre will feature a full-sized gym, walking track, fitness centre, a number of meeting and program spaces, community kitchen and a splash pad.

“The selected design reflects what we heard from the public consultations on design earlier this year,” said Jaclyn Grimmon, recreation programs manager, in a release. “We’re excited about the different program and service opportunities this will create for the City’s east end,”
Kingston East Community Centre construction is set to start in early 2019 and expected to be completed in 2020.
