Kingston Economic Development Corporation (EcDev) has announced two upcoming conferences to provide information and resources for local businesses interested in the Chinese and Latin American markets.
Entering & Expanding in the Chinese Market is one day summit taking place on Friday, January 26, 2018.
It will provide information and resources to businesses that have limited knowledge of the Chinese market, as well as businesses that already have some exposure to the market and that are addressing challenges or attempting to create a larger presence.
Kingston EcDev is working with the office of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Toronto for this event and have announced that Consul General He Wei will be the opening key note speaker.
A complete list of speakers and the summit’s full agenda is being finalized and will be made available at a later date.
Kingston EcDev will be delivering the Latin America Export Opportunities seminar, in partnership with the Ontario International Ministry of Trade, on Thursday, February 8 between 9:00am and 4:30pm.
This one-day forum will provide companies with specific information on Latin American markets that include Mexico, Chile and Brazil.
Attendees will hear from International Trade Development Representatives who will discuss opportunities and challenges in the Latin American markets. The presenters will then meet individually with participating companies to provide company-specific information and advice.
This event is free. Note that businesses must registered with the Ministry of International Trade database.
