The OLG has announced that Marion and Gary Evans of Kingston are two of the newest Instant Bingo Doubler $100,000 winners.
“I think the retailer was more excited than me,” Marion told the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, when the couple picked up their winnings. “I didn’t want to get ahead of myself – I was having a hard time believing the win was even real.” Marion said she initially thought they’d won $50,000, until Gary had a look and saw it was double that amount.
In addition to using the money for kitchen renovations, Gary is going to take a golf trip to Myrtle Beach and Marion is considering vacations to France and England.
According to the OLG, the Evans purchased their ticket was purchased at Dragon Variety on Bath Road in Kingston.
“Winning the lottery is a wonderful feeling,” said the couple. “We’re still pinching ourselves.”
INSTANT BINGO DOUBLER is available for $5 a play and the top prize is $100,000. According to the OLG, odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.53.
