BMO: Kingston Ranked Top 10 Best Canadian City to Find Work

BMO’s most recent Labour Market Report has listed Kingston as one of the best Canadian cities to find work based on a variety of employment factors.

Kingston was rated as the country’s 9th best city, with an unemployment rate of 6.3%, an annual employment increase of 3.0%, and annual population increase of 0.8%.

Provincially, Ontario placed mid-pack in 5th place, but it featured 9 of the top 15 communities in the City Labour Market Performance Rankings.

The top 15 Canadian cities in BMO’s Labour Market Report Card are Oshawa at #1, followed by Guelph, Vancouver, Edmonton, Kitchener, Peterborough, Regina, Windsor, Kingston, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, Victoria, Halifax and Barrie.
