“No Time for That” Anti-Bullying Tour Comes to Kingston

Published on: 2016/11/14 - in News

The “No Time for That” Tour – coming to the Kingston area on Tuesday – will be using personal stories and music to empower youth, raise awareness for mental health and prevent bullying.

The organization is set to empower students in Ontario over the next few weeks, and kicked off their presentations yesterday during National Bullying Awareness week.

The No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society tour will make a stop at both The Prince Charles School in Napanee and James R. Henderson Public School in Kingston on Tuesday, before moving on to a third show later that day in Elginburg.

In a release, Executive Director Kathy Lynn Byrka said: “We believe every person has the potential to offer something great to their community and to the world, which is why it’s so important to not let bullying and the stigma surrounding mental illness prevent them from making a positive contribution.”

The tour’s keynote speaker is 21 year old Elsie Morden, a Canadian country singer, songwriter, motivational speaker, actress, and environmentalist.
