The Kingston community has been invited to attend the Annual New Year’s Levee where you can meet local politicians that include Mayor Bryan Paterson; city councillors; Ian Arthur, Member of Provincial Parliament; and Mark Gerretsen, Member of Federal Parliament.
Attendees will also experience a New Year’s welcome from Town Crier Chris Whyman and a poem from the City’s newly announced Poet Laureate, Jason Heroux.

“The New Year’s Levee is a time-honoured tradition here in Kingston. It’s a great opportunity for residents to chat with their local representatives,” said Mayor Paterson in a release. “I look forward to welcoming Kingstonians to City Hall January 1st as we head into a new council term and a new year!”
The event takes place from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019 in City Hall’s Memorial Hall at 216 Ontario Street.
