Published on: 2019/08/30 - in News

On September 6th, more than 500 United Way supporters will begin their day with a buffet breakfast at the Ambassador Hotel & Conference Centre in support of this year’s campaign.

Thousands of volunteers come together every year to raise funds for services that help their families, friends and neighbours while local organizations, frontline agencies, professional staff and media partners demonstrate their support for the agency.

This year, the program will be MC’d by Corus Entertainment and feature Kingston’s town crier, Chris Whyman, and agency speakers. Workplaces will have the opportunity to their goals, events and announce funds raised to date, and the event will conclude with Scott Harris, the 2019 United Way Campaign chair, announcing this year’s community goal.

Ticket inquiries can be addressed to the United Way office at 613-542-2674 or by emailing campaign@unitedwaykfla.ca.
