The Ostomy Canada Society is inviting Kingstonians to come together to enjoy a free family BBQ and awareness walk on Saturday, October 5th.

The local Ostomy support group will be hosting the event at Lake Ontario Park (920 King Street W.) from 11am to 2pm with the Stoma Stroll beginning at noon and food served at 1pm.

2019 marks the Ostomy Canada Society’s 7th annual Stoma Stroll nationwide and its 4th year here in Kingston. The non-profit volunteer organization is aiming to raise $35,000 across Canada from this year’s awareness walks.

All proceeds support individuals living with ostomies and their families – helping them live life to the fullest through support, education, collaboration and advocacy.
