Fitness Frenzy is giving the public an opportunity to kick start their fall fitness routine with free fitness classes between Monday, September 16 through to Monday, September 22.

“The free Fitness Frenzy classes are being offered at both of these recreation centres next week and include Kickboxing, yoga, strength training for older adults, Tabata, cycle fit and dance fitness for 50+,” according to Niamh Nicholas, fitness and wellness program coordinator.

You can find the full schedule of Fitness Frenzy classes at the City of Kingston’s Featured Events page – note that spaces are limited and participants are required to sign in at the front desk 20 minutes before the class begins.

After participating in a fitness class and checking out the facility it’s in, you can continue your new regime by signing up for an annual Wellness Pass.

The pass costs $34 a month for adults and $27 a month for youths (plus HST) and includes access to pools, sauna, gymnasium, cardio/weight rooms and drop-in programming, including aqua-fit, at the Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, 382 Bagot St. and the INVISTA Fitness and Wellness Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.

Locations and times for each of the offered free fitness programs being offered can be found at the City’s Fitness page.
