Celebrate Family Day at Little Cataraqui Creek

The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) is providing a Family Day full of winter fun and adventure on Monday, February 18 from 9am to 4:00pm at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.

Families in and around Kingston are invited head out on a snowshoe trek, cross-country ski on groomed ski trails (ski rentals are available), feed the chickadees, or take part in our eyes-only scavenger hunt.

There will also be a fire going in the warming hut or you can drop into the Outdoor Centre for a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. At 2:00 p.m. you can join CRCA staff at the fire pit to roast marshmallows and make s’mores.

The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located at 1641 Perth Rd (Division Street N) two kilometres north of Highway 401.

Entry fees are $5.50 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $14 per car. Annual passes are available for $80 per year.
