Family and friends are being invited to come out to the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville to enjoy its outdoor sights and sounds as part of the 17th annual Winter Fun Day.
Taking place on Saturday, January 26, from 10am to 2pm, the day will feature fun activities that include skating on the ‘Back Pond’, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing – including free snowshoeing for the kids – and the thrilling ice slide.
The Mush Larose sled dog races are also back with races beginning at 11am and live music will be provided at the Nature Centre by local group Fiddlers Plus. Refreshments will also be available at the Nature Centre, including a barbecue/chilli lunch, courtesy of the Friends of the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area.
