The City announced the upcoming release of its new recreation and leisure guide for individuals and families to help plan their fall and winter fun.

The guide can be found inside this week’s issue of Kingston This Week and available for download by clicking on the cover image at

“The City offers fantastic and affordable ways for the whole family to be active and have fun,” said Lynda Breen, Supervisor, recreation programs. “Courses for kids and adults include hip-hop, belly-dancing, arts programs, karate and kickboxing.” She also recommended registering early, as programs might be full or could get cancelled if you wait too long.

Details about Fall and winter aquatic and skating programs are also featured in the new guide.

Registration for the programs starts on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9 am.

– To register online, go to You need a unique client bar code number (Log-in ID) for each participant, and a Family Account PIN. If you don’t already have one, call 613-546-4291 ext. 1700/1800 before registration day.

– In person, registration will take place at Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, 382 Bagot St. and INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.
