Police Looking to Identify Grocery Store Robbery Suspect

Kingston Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a local grocery store yesterday evening.

According to a department release, the incident occurred at about 8:45 pm on January 29 at the Parkway Grocery store (pictured above) located at 1469 Princess Street.

The suspect, who was wearing a white clown faced mask, entered the store and walked towards the store clerk while point a small hand gun. He demanded money and then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash – possibly entered a vehicle parked in the lot outside.

The man is described as a 5’6″ Caucasian male with short black hair, an average build, and has a small tattoo of writing on the back of his neck. At the time of the robbery, he may have been wearing a brightly coloured orange construction like jacket.
