Young Frankenstein to Come Alive At The Grand Theatre

The Grand Theatre in Kingston has announced that “Young Frankenstein” will be coming alive on May 24 – a new musical comedy from the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation “The Producers”.

The Grand invites audiences to join them after the relaxing Victoria Day long weekend for this “wickedly inspired” re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend based on Mel Brooks’ classic comedy masterpiece.

The story follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein (that’s Fronkensteen) as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s masterwork and bring a corpse to life.

With such memorable tunes as “The Transylvania Mania,” “He Vas My Boyfriend” and “Puttin’ On The Ritz,” this production is scientifically proven, monstrously good entertainment.

Tickets to Young Frankenstein are $70 and $75, plus HST and box office fees. Tickets are available online through the Grand Theatre’s website www.kingstongrand.ca or in person at the Grand Theatre at 218 Princess Street.

The Box Office is open Monday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., and can be reached by calling 613-530-2050 or emailing grandtheatre2@cityofkingston.ca.
