Come on out to the Queen’s Shinerama Family Fun Fair on Saturday, September 9th where you can enjoy a BBQ, jugglers, bouncy castle, face-painting, scooter board races, bean-bag toss, and children’s activities.
The event is to raise awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis – helping to find a cure for this terrible disease through participant donations, while also building community relations between Queen’s University first-year students and the Kingston Community.
The Family Fun Fair is free to attend with funds being raised through donations to participate in the different events and from a car wash at the event. The only set prices are for Shinerama merchandise which includes tank tops, t-shirts, snapbacks, sunglasses and bracelets and the BBQ where hotdogs are $2 and bottles of water are $1 each.
The Queen’s Shinerama Family Fun Fair will take place at Loblaws (1100 Princess Street) on Saturday, September 9th from noon until 6 pm.
Be sure to come by and help Queen’s Arts and Science Orientation Week fight Cystic Fibrosis.
