Social Media Buzzing Over “Nikita” Filming in Kingston

Under cloudy skies today, Nikita Films took over Kingston’s Market Square and surrounding downtown streets to film scenes for the WB Television series “Nikita”.

Exterior filming is taking place on Market Street and King Street on January 14 from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Since production will prevent the public from using the Market Square’s skating rink during the day, Nikita Films has rented ice time at the K-Rock Centre for skaters to use between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm.

Production vehicles will be parked downtown in designated areas and Kingston Police will be monitoring intermittent traffic stoppages required for filming.

Nikita airs on the CW Network in the U.S. and on CTV2 in Canada.
