Australian shock comic, Jim Jefferies, will be on stage at The Grand Theatre on Thursday, August 20th.
The politically incorrect actor/writer/comedian is in the midst of his North American “Freedumb” tour, which recently included five shows at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall that one reviewer described as a “gut emptying night of laughs” from “the rising star who really seems to be hitting his stride“.
In addition to the successful stand up act he performs on tour and in televised specials, Jefferies also co-created and starred in the FX/FXX sitcom “Legit”.
The series, lauded for its brashness and portrayal of people with mental and physical handicaps, is available on U.S. Netflix – with at least one of his stand up performances found on Canadian Netflix – and has received impressive ratings from both IMDB (8.2) and Rotten Tomatoes (92%).
His Kingston performance at The Grand Theatre’s Regina Rosen Auditorium, advertised as “for mature audiences only – you have been warned”, begins at 8:00 pm on Thursday night.
Available tickets can be purchased online at The Grand Theatre’s website.
