Canadian-born actor, Jim Carrey, posted to his Twitter account last night that he was being ‘torn apart’ while watching the Stanley Cup playoffs, tweeting:
I Love Vancouver! I Love Boston! EITHER WAY, I WIN AND LOSE!!! It’s tearing me APAAAAART! ?%^P
Accompanying the post was a link to a photo (pictured above) of the rubber faced actor posing in front of a TV showing the game in progress.
Based on the outcome of the match, Carrey would later both pleased and disappointed when the Boston Bruins took Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals by beating out the Vancouver Canucks with a score of 4 to 0.
That same night, the actor made an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman which aired just after the game.
There to promote his new movie “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”, the comedian entertained the Letterman with a number of anecdotes, including one that seemed strangely – and hilariously – familiar to the host. [CBS Youtube video]
