Local rock phenoms, The Glorious Sons, have released their new single ‘Panic Attack’ ahead the band’s upcoming tour and opening once again for The Rolling Stones later this month.

In the accompanying music video, frontman Brett Emmons “finds himself strapped to a chair with walls closing in as he attempts to escape his own nightmare-ish panic attack.”

The Glorious Sons crossed a number of pinnacles over the past year including having their first Billboard #1 hit “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)” holding the #1 slot on the Active and Modern rock charts for 4 straight weeks in the U.S. and spending 10 consecutive weeks at #1 at Rock Radio in Canada.

“S.O.S.” is also in its 64th week on the Canadian Rock Radio Charts and on June 29th the band will open as direct support for The Rolling Stones in Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, north of Barrie, on their only Canadian date. On July 7th, the Sons move on to perform with Twenty One Pilots as part of Festival d’été in Québec and begin their summer tour with The Struts starting June 27th.

The Son’s 2018 album ‘Young Beauties and Fools’ won the JUNO Award for Best Rock Album, and the CRIA-certified GOLD single “Everything Is Alright” became their first #1 at the Alternative Radio format.

The band played 12 different countries across 10 different time zones for their 2018 tour including opening for the Rolling Stones in Marseille, rocking Kingston at their home-town concert (video), and closing out the tour with a sold-out performance at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
