Free Skating Event Features Hot Chocolate, Snacks, and Colouring

Ice skating

The public is invited to celebrate Canada 150 Skating Day at the Rogers K-Rock Centre.

On Sunday, December 10th, skaters can hit the ice between 1:00pm and 2:50pm for free skating and also enjoy hot chocolate, snacks and colouring activities.

Lynda Breen, recreation programs supervisor, calls on the community to bring their friends and family to celebrate Canada 150 in a truly Canadian way, adding “We welcome all ages and skill levels to wear red and white and enjoy a fun filled afternoon.”

All public skating rules will be in effect for this event and a maximum of 180 skaters will be permitted on the ice surface at one time.

The Rogers K-Rock Centre is located at 1 The Tragically Hip Way.
