St. George’s Cathedral Choirs Begin New Term and Rehearsals

The Children’s Choir of St. George’s Cathedral will begin a new term on Friday September 8 from 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm.

Boys and girls aged 7 to 13 are welcome to join the choir, which rehearses Fridays after school and sing monthly on Sundays.

No previous musical experience is required and there is no membership fee.

Along with choir singing together, members of the Children’s Choir also enjoy an occasional pizza party and other special events.

The Adult Choir of St. George’s Cathedral begin their rehearsals on a new day and time, beginning Thursday September 7th between 6:30 pm and 8:30pm. The cathedral notes that Choral Scholarships for students are available and short-term seasonal choirs are offered for occasional singers.

St. George’s Cathedral is located in downtown Kingston at 270 King Street East by Johnson Street.
