Rock legend Bryan Adams posted the cover art for his “Ultimate” CD this past week with a promise that fans will be able to get their hands on it in the coming weeks.
On September 29th, Bryan posted to Facebook that “Ultimate” will be available on November 3rd.
The next day, he uploaded a video snippet of the “ultimate love” guitar solo (click/tap image to play):
The album will feature hits from the beginning of his career in the 80s up to the newest tunes from his last album, 2015’s “Get Up”.
It will also feature two unpublished tracks, “Ultimate Love” and “Please Stay”.
UPDATE: In a October 6th Facebook post, the Kingston-born singer-songwriter posted an audio for one of his new tunes, writing: “The new single ‘Please Stay’ is available everywhere on Friday 13th October! Taken from the new album ‘Ultimate’ – out November 3rd.”
Bryan Guy Adams was born in Kingston in 1959 to British parents who immigrated to Canada from Plymouth, England in the 1950s. His father was an officer in the British Army and then joined the Canadian Army, which included a posting to CFB Kingston during the time of Bryan’s birth and early childhood.
Over the past month, Adams has appeared in concert while also writing songs for the upcoming Pretty Woman stage play and will perform this week at the closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games in Toronto.
Last week he sent a message of support to the people of Mexico, who are recovering from recent earthquakes throughout the country, with a link for donations to be made to the Red Cross.
(Loosely translated, Adams says “To all my Mexican friends, I share your pain and I sympathize with you. I send you my whole heart“)
