The official Facebook fan page for Kingston-born performer Bryan Adams has passed the two million mark.

And that milestone didn’t escape the singer/songwriter’s notice, as he posted a status update saying “am i seeing things or does it say 2 Million at the top of the page?“.

Adams also asked fans to “Tell me where you are from please!” which resulted in an avalanche of responses from around the world.

Almost 9500 people have replied to his post so far, with many including not just where they’re from but also sharing fond memories of seeing him in concert.

This week, concert dates for the European leg of his Bare Bones Acoustic Show are being announced and can be found listed on his website (also see the site’s tour map).

Music from Bryan Adams, who performed in Kingston at the K-Rock Centre last May, will appear in the upcoming animated film “Dorothy of Oz” which also features Kingston-area resident Dan Aykroyd as the voice of the Scarecrow.
