Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings game took place on Sunday at Toronto’s BMO Field.

The Kingston-born singer / song writer performed on a small stage after the first period, bringing the crowd to its feet as they sang along to his hits “Cuts Like a Knife” and “Summer of ‘69“.

An avid social media user, Adams earlier posted a photo with hockey’s “Great One” Wayne Gretzky. Taking on the role of Centennial Ambassador, Gretzky held court with a Q&A session before a preGame concert by the Arkells.
