The Glorious Sons Declare “A War On Everything” this September

The Glorious Sons unveiled their newest single, Pink Hotel, today while announcing a September 13th release of the 14-track, ‘A War On Everything’.

Produced by Frederik Thaae, the album was recorded at North of Princess studios in Kingston and comes out just one week before the band’s September 21st hometown concert at Richardson Stadium.

On the single “Pink Motel,” frontman Brett Emmons delves into a failed relationship strained by material things – or lack thereof.

“I wrote this song in response to my ex claiming ‘we don’t have anything’ as she looked around my shitty apartment,” he says. “‘Pink Motel’ was my last effort to remind her of how meaningless everything was if we couldn’t get back to just her and I.”

The band is currently performing in the U.S. after massive shows this summer with The Rolling Stones and Twenty-One Pilots. Following the hometown Kingston concert, the Sons will wrap up 2019 with a tour of Europe in November.

Loudwire recently named The Glorious Sons an up-and-coming rock band “you need to hear,” and their most recent single “Panic Attack” is currently #1 on the Canadian Active Rock chart and in the top 15 at US Active Rock.

Their fourth CRIA-certified GOLD single “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)” spent a record setting 64 weeks on the Canadian Rock Radio Charts and held the #1 spot at Rock Radio for 10 consecutive weeks in Canada in addition to 4 consecutive weeks at US Active Rock Radio earlier this year and remains one of the most played tracks at the format.
