Vogue Charity Fashion Show (VCFS), an entirely student-run club at Queen’s University, will be hosting its annual fashion show March 1st, 2nd & 3rd to showcase student talent while raising money for charity and helping to create social change in the Kingston community.

Now in its 21st year, this weekend’s event is inspired by “visionaries” and will celebrate eight different icons who were trailblazers in their respective fields.

Over 130 talented Queen’s students contributed countless hours as models, dancers, singers, clothing designers, and on the executive organizing committee.

Last year, VCFS raised $53,500 for Camp Trillium – the highest amount raised by Vogue Charity Fashion to date.

All proceeds collected from ticket sales at the 2018 event will be donated to the Kingston Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

As it did for last year’s show, Kawartha Credit Union provided an early start towards that initiative with a $1000 donation to VCFS for its philanthropic work and for fostering a sense of community both at Queen’s and in Kingston.

Remaining tickets for this weekend’s shows can be purchased online at the Grand Theatre website.
