The 2017 Kingston’s Buskers Rendezvous begins today and continues through the weekend until Sunday, July 9th.
An event that began as a a fun addition to Downtown Kingston’s July Sidewalk Sale has now become known as one of the renowned festivals of its kind in Canada.
This year there is a great mix of new, returning and original buskers who are sure to delight audiences of all ages with juggling, dancing, songs, magic tricks, a fire show and much much more.
For four days, local and international buskers will put on free performances – it’s up to the audience to decide how much to pay, as the Buskers earn their living by “passing the hat”. So if you enjoy their performance let them know when the hat is passed!

The Festivities will conclude in Confederation Park on Sunday at 6pm with the Buskers Grand Finale. Presented by The Kingston Whig-Standard, the proceeds from that event’s “passing the hat” will benefit the United Way’s “Success by 6” program.
