On Saturday, October 28, the Cataraqui Conservation Foundation (CCF) will host the Forever Green Gala in partnership with the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority.

The gala is the primary fundraiser for the CCF and takes place from 6pm to 9:30pm at the Senior Officers’ Mess at the Royal Military College in Kingston.

After a one year hiatus, the popular event is returning with live music, a delicious choice of menu options, and both live and silent auctions.

Proceeds from the gala, and donations through the foundation’s Partners in Education campaign, support education and wildlife programs for young people at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area in Kingston and the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville.

The foundation also administers a program of Conservation Awards that recognize the contributions of individuals, groups, and organizations to the preservation of the natural environment. This year’s recipients will be presented with their awards as part of the 2017 Forever Green Gala, with those winners being named just prior to the gala.

2017 Forever Green Gala tickets can be purchased for $125 and a charitable receipt will be issued for a portion of the ticket price. Tickets are available by calling 613-546-4228 ext. 221.
