St. George’s Cathedral Advent Concerts Begin

St. George's Cathedral, KingstonOn Thursday, November 30th, this season’s St. George’s Cathedral Advent Concerts begin with a performance by organist Brad Barbeau from 12:15pm to 12:50pm.

The concerts continue each Thursday through to December 21 and each performance is free to attend, with a voluntary offering collected.

The St. George’s Cathedral Advent Concert on Thursday, December 7 will feature a performance by the Mulberry Waldorf School Choir, directed by Margaret Moncrieff, from 12:15pm to 12:50pm.

On Thursday, December 14 between 12:15pm and 12:50pm the Cathdral will host flautist Allan Pulker.

The Concerts series concludes on Thursday, December 21 with a performance by guitarist Jeff Hanlon .

There will also be a special evening concert at the Cathedral on Wednesday, December 6 at 7:30pm where piano duo Valery Lloyd-Watts & Clare Gordon will perform. The program will include an arrangement George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue”. Tickets to this event are $15.

The Cathedral is located at 270 King St. East (at Johnson) in Kingston.
