Perform or Enjoy Famed Composer’s Works at ‘The Great Bach Marathon’

The Royal Canadian College of Organists Kingston Centre presents “The Great Bach Marathon” this Saturday, offering the opportunity to perform or listen to works of the great composer, Johann Sebastian Bach.

Scheduled performers will include students of various teachers in Kingston, members of Queen’s music department, Orchestra Kingston and Kingston Community Strings, Kingston Community of Organists, RCCO scholarship winners, and many others.

A schedule of performers will be posted at rcco-kingston.ca and anyone who would like to perform or listen to works of Johann Sebastian Bach is welcome. For information, or to request a performance slot, contact harknessfran@gmail.com, or call 613-549-7125.

Come for a performance, come for the afternoon. Come when you can and leave when you must.

There is no admission fee, but a freewill donation will go toward the Kingston Street Mission and the RCCO Scholarship program.

The event takes place Saturday, March 30 from 12pm until 5pm at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 130 Clergy St. E.
