St. George’s Cathedral Advent Concerts Begin this Month

St. George's Cathedral, KingstonThe Kingston community and guests are invited to enjoy mid-day musical interludes with the St. George’s Cathedral Advent Concerts. The series begins on Thursday, November 29 and runs every Thursday afternoon between 12:15pm and 12:50pm until December 20. Admission is free with a voluntary offering collected.

The concert series begins with organist Michael Capon performing music by J.S. Bach, Frederick Karam, and others on Thursday, November 29.

On December 6, the QuattroBone trombone ensemble performing music by J.S. Bach, Arvo Pärt, Claude Debussy, Matthew Emery, and others.

Advent Concerts continue on Thursday, December 13 with piano duo Valery Lloyd-Watts and Clare Miller performing music by W.A. Mozart, Claude Debussy, and Khatia & Gvantsa Buniatishvili.

The Cathedral’s concert series concludes on December 20 with a performance of J.S. Bach’s Cantata 140 (Wachet auf) by the Cathedral Chamber Orchestra and Concert Choir, directed by David Cameron.
