Enjoy ‘Snow Much Fun’ on December 8 in the Square

The City has announced Snow Much Fun – a free, family fun event for all ages – will be held on Friday, December 8 from 5pm to 9pm in Springer Market Square.

  • Step inside a life-sized snow globe for a wintry photo
  • Groove to our DJ’s seasonal rhythms
  • Try kids crafts in Santa’s Workshop
  • Enjoy storytelling with Mayor Bryan Paterson at 7 p.m.
  • Shop the holiday market
  • Visit Santa Claus
  • Enjoy demonstration by Kingston Synchronized Skating at 7:45 p.m. (weather-permitting)
  • Ride on the Trolley with Kingston Trolley Tours
  • Skate with your family and friends (weather-permitting)
  • Warm your hands by the fire pits

“Snow Much Fun is a wonderful way to experience the magic of the holidays,” said Sue Hitchcock, assistant supervisor, recreation programs, in a release. “Skating on an outdoor rink, the sweet smell of apple cider and wood fires wafting through the air, Santa and his workshop and our holiday market are just some of the delights that await our visitors.”

Kingston Toy Drive will be accepting donations of unwrapped toys at the event.
