Family and friends are being invited to come out to the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area in Brockville to enjoy lots of outdoor sights and sounds as part of the 16th annual Winter Fun Day.
The event features plenty of fun activities for the whole family family and is taking place on Saturday, January. 27 between 10am and 2pm.
The Mush Larose sled dog races are back by popular demand – with races beginning at 11am – and families can skate on the ‘Back Pond’ or go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing – and it’s free snowshoeing for kids.

Thanks to the Friends of the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, refreshments that include a barbecue/chilli lunch will available at the Nature Centre.
According to the CRCA event page, admission is just $5 per car.
To get to the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, take Highway 29 north from Brockville to Tincap, turn east on Debruge Road and drive for two kilometres to the main entrance.
