Kingston Transit is terrible. I used to try and catch the bus home from Queen’s – it’s a straight shot from there to where I lived further out union street and during rush hour there are 3 routes running supposedly every fifteen minutes. MANY MANY nights I’d make it home on foot before even ONE bus passed me by. If a bus system is that unreliable then it is no wonder people resort to driving – most of us can’t afford to take the chance on taking a bus that may or may not come, so we make other arrangements.

As a former student myself, I’m surprised no one has noticed the similarity between Wallace Hall and the dining hall in Harry Potter. When I attended the University, my friends and I always called Wallace Hall the Harry Potter room.
